How do I get a library card?

You have three options to register for a TRAC library card:

  1. Visit any Marigold member library 
  2. Fill out the online registration form
  3. Contact Marigold Library System at 1.855.934.5334
How do I view my account online?

Visit the library catalogue at tracpac.ab.ca or through the free TRACpac app on your mobile device. Log in with the barcode number from your library card and your PIN.

What is my PIN/PASSWORD?

Your default PIN/PASSWORD is the last four digits of your phone number. If you are unsure of your PIN/PASSWORD or would like to reset it, contact us.

How do I search for library items?

Search for books, eBooks, audiobooks, DVDs, video games, and more using the online catalogue at tracpac.ab.ca or the free TRACpac app on your mobile device.

How do I place a hold?

Place holds in person, by phoneonline, or with the app.

How do I renew my borrowed items?

Renew items in person, by phoneonline, or with the app.

  • maximum of two renewals
  • item has no current holds
What happens if I return library items past the due date?

Bragg Creek Satellite Library does not charge overdue fines. We respectfully ask that you return library materials on time so other library users can access them.

If you are returning items that were borrowed at another library, overdue fines may accrue based on their policies. When items are brought back to Marigold, staff backdate items to the last pickup date so that overdue fines aren't accrued while waiting to be picked up.

How do I access downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and other digital content?

How do I collect my items from the Remote Lockers?
  1. Press the collect items button on the welcome screen.
  2. Login by scanning your library card barcode or manually enter the barcode number using the keyboard.
  3. Your reserved items are listed by locker number. If you have items in more than one locker you have the option to open selected lockers or all lockers.
  4. Once you collect your items from the locker(s), press finish to complete the transaction.

A receipt will print upon completion of the transaction. This will indicate the return dates for your items.

How do I return my items at the lockers?
  1. Press the return items button on the welcome screen.
  2. Login by scanning your library card barcode or manually enter the barcode number using the keyboard.
  3. When prompted by the screen, firmly push your item(s) into the Returns slot. Once all items have been returned, press finish to complete the transaction.
